Preheaters

The CP Series Convective Preheat Systems were adapted from our proven RW116 rework and high speed selective solder machines for bench top stand alone use. This highly flexible unit, based on our unique thermal reserve design, is suitable for any high or low speed heating requirement and can be tailored to vrtually any temperature vs. time curve. This permits the fastest preheat without damaging your PCB's.

Unlike oven based systems, the CP 128 uses superheated air to provide a very fast cycle time. Three high efficiency stainless steel finned heaters generate and maintain a thermal reserve for the system to draw upon. A PCB or product contact thermocouple controls the system's operation to quickly reach the preset temperature, and then maintains it without overheating or continually heating your work area. The time required to increase the temperature is dramatically less than a convection oven. Select applications have reached successful ambient to 100C cycle times of less than 15 seconds. The CP series can also be used to preheat topside as well, without any loss of performance!
